- Many global business leaders recognise that inclusive hiring is a priority for their organisation, and society; it promotes a fair and equitable workplace, fosters innovation and improves financial performance. How can more organizations be more inclusive?
- How can leaders create positive change and prioritise mental health as part of an organisation’s inclusion and talent development strategy to create a stigma-free culture and psychologically safe workplace?
- How do we create a more inclusive and accommodating environment for neurodiverse individuals in Hong Kong? How can leaders help alleviate the struggles neurodiverse individuals face?
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Summit 2024
ABOUT THE EVENT
Hong Kong is one of the most advanced cities in Asia when it comes to issues of diversity, equity and inclusion. We are already seeing homegrown companies in Hong Kong elevating their priorities on diversity and gender representation in their organisations, joining the ranks of multinational organisations which have long adapted and localised their headquarters’ policies and initiatives for the local market. Public attitudes around DEI themes are expanding — mental health and wellness are no longer uncomfortable discussions.
Building on the success of the inaugural event in 2023 which focused on awareness, the 2024 summit will shift gears, moving from creating awareness to enabling action and allyship, and amplifying the conversations taking place in Hong Kong on a global stage. The summit aims to discuss and debate the critical role of DEI initiatives in attracting and retaining global talent in workplaces.
